One outta two ain't great, but it's better than nothing
I don't watch a lot of football. Even the teams I care about, I'm ok with finding out the score after the game is over. On rare occasions, I'll bother to watch my beloved Aggies. Like last night, when I watched them lose to Penn State in the Alamo Bowl for the second time in my life. (This is significant only because my Dad went to Penn State and actually took us to the game last time. The Penn State part, I mean.) And yet, I still get an unreasonable amount of satisfaction from coming home to see that the Redskins thrashed the Cowboys.
